Remove Date and comment from each page without creating a child theme

HI, 

I know there is a post which describes removing the date and comment from each page by creating a child theme.
Is there a way to do this without creating a child theme.

    Hi,

    We do suggest child theme whenever there is a need to change the core theme code. Because its a very good chance that these changes would gets overwritten by the latest version of the themes.

    But if you are not comfortable with the child theme,than, we will provide you the fix in the parent theme itself.

    But before fix in need to confirm one thing that you want to remove comment form from each page or just the 'No Comments' string just below the title of each page.

    please  copy & paste this given below css class 

    .hc_page_detail_header_section
    {
         display:none;
    }

    and paste inside given instruction.

    please go on wordpress dashboard >> Appearance >> option panel >> Quick start >> Custom css box .
