Recent Blog should show first n words of the article

I don't want to show the whole articles in Recent Blog on main page settins as the articles are too long for this section. It would be nice to see just first n words (or characters) of the article.

IF you want to show desired content on  latest news section.For this you need to use More tag.

Insert more tag  into the post editor   content   where you want to  show read  more button .
