Sidebar on post sites

Hi guys,

inside the sidebar of my blog posts I included a list of recent posts. In front of the posts' titles are cryptic signs. How can I change that?

They should either not be shown at all or be replaced by real icons/images.

Thanks a lot.

  • Hi mandalawpadmin

    For this please add the below css code in custom css box.

    .top-header-widget li a:before, .top-contact-detail-section li a:before, .sidebar-widget li a:before, .footer-widget-column li a:before
    { font-family: FontAwesome !important; }

    Let me know did it work.

    Thanks
  • Hi Prajapati, it looks much better now. Where can I change the icon?
  • Hi mandalawpadmin

    Kindly add the below css code for change the icon and you can find the content value here http://astronautweb.co/snippet/font-awesome/

    .top-header-widget li a:before, .top-contact-detail-section li a:before, .sidebar-widget li a:before, .footer-widget-column li a:before{content: "\f00c";}

    Let me know did it work.

    Thanks
  • Thanks Prajapati,

    it kind of worked ;-)

    I included your code which did not work until I added font-family: FontAwesome !important; inside the bracket.

    So it says .top-header-widget li a:before, .top-contact-detail-section li a:before, .sidebar-widget li a:before, .footer-widget-column li a:before{content: "\f0da";font-family: FontAwesome !important;} now and it works :-)

    Problem solved!

    Hi mandalawpadmin

    Both of code need to be necessary to work.

    Closing this ticket.

    Thanks
