  • Hi togarb

It requires core code customize so i will suggest you to add customize code  in child theme you can read more about child theme here https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

    Now Follow given instructions.

    1. Create a child theme you can use this plugin to create child theme https://wordpress.org/plugins/orbisius-child-theme-creator/

    2. Go to in your theme directory and copy index-portfolio.php and now go to in your child theme directory and paste here index-portfolio.php file.

    3. Find attached code in https://pastebin.com/0BUcsv1W and replace in your child theme index-portfolio.php file.

    4. Activate your child theme

Let me know did it work.

    Thanks

thank you for your fast reply, the colour code you have given me changes only the letters below the picture. i dont want the letters but the background of the letters to be changed. so i would like that to be either transparant or change the collour to something else.

  • Hi abhishek,

i tried to follow this step which you suggested me:

    3. Find attached code in https://pastebin.com/0BUcsv1W and replace in your child theme index-portfolio.php file

however when i try to change this in child theme and save it i get this error:

Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.

Can you help me with this please? is there something wrong with the code?
  • Hi togarb
