Change menu button background color

I'd like to change the menu buttons so that there isn't any color background on "home" or on the dropdown links.

    Hi

    For this simply add the below css code inside the custom css box . 

    .navbar-default .navbar-nav > .active > a, .navbar-default .navbar-nav > .active > a:hover, .navbar-default .navbar-nav > .active > a:focus {
        background-color: #3e3430 !important;
    }

    .navbar .navbar-nav > .active > a, .navbar .navbar-nav > .active > a:hover, .navbar .navbar-nav > .active > a:focus, .dropdown-menu, .dropdown-menu .active > a, .dropdown-menu .active > a:hover, .dropdown-menu .active > a:focus {
        background-color: #5f3d30  !important;
    }
    .dropdown-menu > li > a {
        border-bottom: 1px solid #423834 !important;
    }

    I would like to do something similar, and the discussion-title fits relatively my request. (So tell me if I should nonetheless open a new discussion):

    On the site neu.aim-plan.com I would like the main menu to behave as follow:

    When hovering on a menu-item: 
    - background color and font color change as in focused item. 
    - No display of submenu-items
    - only when clicking on it submenu-items are displayed-
