Content padding lost when adjusting footer padding.

I was having a problem with having an extra padding on the footer for mobiles and tablets. That was solved by using the following custom css:

@media screen and (max-width: 1024px){
.for_mobile {
    padding: 0 0px !important;
}
}
@media screen and (max-width: 800px){
.for_mobile {
    padding: 0 0px !important;
}
}

@media screen and (max-width: 760px){
.for_mobile {
    padding: 0 0px !important;
}
}

The side effect is that the content of the page also loses its padding (see attached). Is there a way to keep the padding for the content but remove only from the footer?

Thanks
